August 12 meeting in Baltimore: raise your voice on Calvert Cliffs-3
NIRS and the Chesapeake Safe Energy Coalition believe that every Marylander should have the opportunity to weigh in and get information on Constellation's plans to build a new nuclear reactor in our state. Unfortunately the PSC is only holding hearings in Southern Maryland.
We are hosting an open meeting in Baltimore for those unable to travel to Southern Maryland to give them a chance to make their voices heard. Comments collected at the meeting will be delivered to the MD PSC for inclusion in the public record.
For our August 12th public meeting we've got a stenographer, we've got a Nobel Laureate making the opening remarks and now the only thing missing is you!
If you're concerned about Maryland's energy future, want to stop global warming, want to reduce air pollution, want lower utility bills, or want to make sure we're not endangering future generations with the choices we make now; this meeting is your opportunity to make your voice heard and to make a difference.
